The impossible request? MP3 player, good for audio books and podcast � for a 67 year old?

Looking for something fairly easy to use, not concerned about glitz/glamour/touchscreen funness, just easy to use that can be used for my mom to play audio books in her car, download audio books from her library, and possibly connect/download to podcasts.
